Location: Near Fayetteville, West Virginia
Client: New River Ledges LLC
The project site lies along the edge of the New River Gorge, near Fayetteville, West Virginia, an area known by outdoor enthusiasts for its incredible opportunities for whitewater rafting, rock climbing, base jumping and hiking. The 1800 acre project site is abounding with breathtaking views, rich history and dense forest areas. In addition to offering spectacular views of the New River Gorge and the New River Gorge Bridge, the project will boast 6 miles of hiking trails of various levels of difficulty. Additional amenities include a Gorge Overlook Pavilion/Clubhouse and riverside recreation area. A large portion of the land will be placed into a conservation easement. The program consists of 600 large lots in two adjacent residential communities within the Preserve: Bridge View Estates and The Ledges. After an extensive on-site analysis process, EcoPlan provided Master Planning, Site Design and planning work for the conservation easement process.
