Neptune Park
Location: St. Simons Island, Georgia

This seaside village had an existing waterfront park in need of renovations. EcoPlan provided land planning and landscape architectural services for the park's proposed redevelopment. Phase One opened to the public on May 23, 2009. EcoPlan worked with county officials to design a resort-style swimming pool and children's splash park that could support the functions of the Park & Recreation Department's many programs. A new concessions building anchors the pool, updated playground area, and the new 18-hole miniature golf course.
Phase Two of construction will address the remaining aspects of the site and include sidewalks, seating, and lighting enhancements.
